Ocala’s Coolest Happenings This Fall

 

Leaves and temperatures are dropping so it’s time to get outside with your family. Your real estate agents with the Laurie Ann Truluck Team have put together this list of events happening in Ocala and Marion County this fall that you won’t want to miss. October 4 - 27, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Timberline Farms in Belleview offers a pumpkin patch and fall festival with corn mazes, hayrides, pony rides, music food, carnival games and more. General admission is $8 adults, $6 children (ages 3 and under free.)

 

October 19th:  The Two Rivers Music Festival and Food Truck Rally in Dunnellon features a number of live bands and a variety of food truck vendors.

 

October 20th: Help release 100,000 lady bugs at Fun at the Park-Let’s Get Buggy, held at Sholom Park, this free event includes a butterfly encounter.

 

October 26th: Just up the road in McIntosh, the McIntosh 1890’s Festival features arts, crafts, antiques and entertainment.

 

October  26 - 28:  Ocala Pumpkin Run, a premier car show and fall festival, offers a variety of entertainment, demonstrations, displays and a free kids area with games and activities. Tickets are required for this event benefitting Children's Miracle Network, New Horizon School for Autism & ARC of Marion.

 

October 26-27:  Every fall,  The Ocala Arts Festival  hosts over one hundred fifty artists from all over the United States, displaying a wide variety of art mediums. Entertainment, food trucks, and a children’s art area are also included.

 

November 2nd: The Marion County Chili Cookoff convenes for the 38th year. Come taste the chili and enjoy entertainment. Tickets required for this charity fundraiser benefitting Cornerstone School.     

 

November 9th: The Ocala Harvest Festival includes live music, food trucks, a beer garden and artisan booths. Canned food donations are collected by Project Hope to be distributed to families in the community during the holiday season. 

 

November 10th:  Join the Kingdom of the Sun concert band at Veterans Light the Stars for an evening of music and fireworks at the Veterans Memorial Park.

 

November 23-24: Take a drive out to Dunnellon for the fifth annual Rainbow Springs Art Festival featuring entertainment, food, an antique car show and lots of art for sale.
