5 Fall Traditions to Start With Your Family

It's officially October, which means pumpkin carving, spooky movies and outdoor fun! Here are some traditions you can start with your family that will bring you together!

1. Pumpkin Carving and Painting
No matter how old you are, it's always fun to carve a pumpkin! Set a date and time and get your friends and family together for an epic pumpkin party! Go to the store and get paint, glitter, carving supplies, snacks and more! It will be so much fun and you can take pictures for the memory book!

2. Host a Bonfire
Nothing says fall more than a bonfire! You get to eat s'mores, listen to music, cuddle up in blankets and spend time with your friends and loved ones!

3. Go Check Out Your Local Corn Maze
Corn Mazes are always fun! Sure, you might get lost, but isn't that the point? You can follow your tracks and find your way back! It's fun for the whole family!

4. Go to an Outdoor Concert or Movie
If you're an Ocala local, check out all of the events here. The After Dark in the Park series is streaming Hocus Pocus on the 26th. Sounds like fun to us!

5. Make a Fall Wreath
Go to your local craft store and pick up some supplies to make your very own wreath! If you end up loving it, you can hang it on your front door and add to it every year!

Other Fun Things
- Go on a haunted hayride

- Visit a haunted house
- Make candy apples
- Make your own tasty soup
- Go on long walks and bike rides

We hope you enjoy the fall season! Try out new things and spend time with your friends and family! Make it special!
