The Best Meal Subscription Boxes

What's the deal with the hype over meal delivery services? Companies like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and more put together ingredients, recipes and individual servings portioned out for you to cook food at home so you don't have to waste anything. With that being said, here are the top meal delivery services we found that are available in Florida.

1. Home Chef
If you live in an apartment complex in Florida, chances are, you've gotten plenty of mail from Home Chef. Back when they were rolling out their company, I would get mail everyday offering a free box, $30 off a box, etc. Home Chef is based in Illinois and has the highest customer satisfaction rate from customers amongst other meal delivery services.

2. Blue Apron
Although Blue Apron is known for being more expensive than the others, they do offer free delivery. Is the price worth it? Maybe if you live with one other person. Blue Apron is more for newlyweds and couples, not for families. They don't have kid-friendly meals like the others.

3. Hello Fresh
Hello Fresh allows you to choose from 2-3 meals per week for 2 or more people. They also offer family friendly meals and probably the lowest prices amongst competitors. They've been around for a while, so it's a well known company that's had the chance to make improvements over the years.

4. Sun Basket
Sun Basket is a delivery service with their headquarters based in California. They specialize in healthier, organic options. They also pride themselves on having the best quality ingredients. Their meal plans include gluten-free, paleo, carb-conscious, pescatarian, vegan, vegetarian, diabetes-friendly and more.

5. Plated
Plated is one of the most expensive services costing about $12 per meal while other services start around $7-8 per meal. They do offer vegetarian and kid-friendly meals along with 25% off your first month.
