August 6, 2019

If you like movies and being outside on summer and fall weekend evenings, then you’re in luck!

Get your blankets and lawn chairs ready for Ocala’s “After Dark in the Park” series, which begins at 8:30pm on Friday, August 9 at Webb Field. Movies are subject to change, but the first movie on the schedule is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (PG-13), which features a bunch of dinosaurs (and Jeff Goldblum, too!).

Next up is the Hugh Jackman film, The Greatest Showman (PG), on Friday, September 13 at 8pm at Ocala State Park.

The animated movie Coco (PG) hits the screen at Citizens’ Circle on Friday, October 4 at 7:30pm.

The final movie in this year’s series is Hocus Pocus (PG). Just in time for Halloween, this Bette Midler movie will be shown Saturday, October 26 at 8pm at the Fort King National Historic Landmark. Note: this is the only Saturday showing.

Popcorn, hot dogs and beverages will be available for sale at reasonable prices.

So, mark your calendars and qet ready to take in some entertaining movies outside in the next few months.
