Ocala is one of those towns with so much history and charm in its bustling downtown square. If you ever get to visit Ocala, you won't want to miss out on hitting all of the local hotspots! Here are some of our favorites!

1. Agapanthus of Ocala 18 SW Broadway Street
Agapanthus is a gift, accessories and home store. It's located in Downtown Ocala and features a wide variety of high quality brands including Pandora. Also at Agapanthus is the Breeze Day Spa which is a blow dry bar and a nail salon! You definitely don't want to miss out on all that Agapanthus has to offer.

2. Betty Cakes Bakery & Cafe (Located inside Your Heart's Desire) 1915 E Silver Springs Blvd.
Betty Cakes has the absolute best cakes, cookies and pastries Ocala has to offer. They also serve the best chicken salad sandwich in town! You can shop around Your Heart's Desire while you're waiting on your food and then you can sit down and enjoy your meal!

3. Stella's Modern Pantry 20 SW Broadway Street
Stella's Modern Pantry, located in Ocala's downtown square, is a great place to go for a lunch date with a friend or a work lunch! They have great sandwiches, flatbreads, salads and charcuterie plates. They also have a lot of kitchen goods, spices, wines and more to choose from in their shop! It's a great place to get a gift for a friend.

4. Greiner's and Her Kloset 405 E Silver Springs Blvd.
If you want to do some local shopping for clothes and accessories, look no further than Her Kloset and Greiner's for Men! They have many well known brands that you see in stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales and what's even better is that you'd be supporting a local business! If you're lucky, you'll get a greeting from the cute labradoodle that hangs out in the store!

5. Brick City Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar 10 S Magnolia Avenue
Brick City is a newer restaurant in the Ocala area, but boy has it made an impact! You can sit at the whiskey bar and enjoy a drink, or you can eat some of the best barbecue in town. It's a great, low key restaurant that the whole family will enjoy!

This is just a small list of some of the must visit locations in Downtown Ocala. If you enjoyed this, then we will put together some more lists of attractions around town!
